Preparatory courses for foreign citizens are a mandatory step for those who do not speak Russian. The program lasts 1 academic year (10 months) and includes studying the Russian language and core subjects (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics — depending on the chosen major). Upon completion of the courses, a state-standard certificate is issued, which grants the right to enroll in any university in Belarus. Preparatory courses are paid. Based on the contract with the university, you will be issued a short-term student visa to enter Belarus. Upon arrival, you will apply for a temporary residence permit for the entire duration of your studies.
