Section 2 Working conditions and social package
The main advantage of Belarus over many other destinations is full compliance with the Labor Code. If you are employed legally (through a special permit or on other grounds), you receive:
- Official salary twice a month. No “black” envelopes and no delays for months.
- Paid vacation. 24 calendar days per year (more for some hazardous industries).
- Medical insurance. Mandatory for foreigners. Often the employer pays for voluntary health insurance or reimburses insurance costs.
